This Restaurant Only Seats 52 People And Is One Of The Hardest To Get Into In Oklahoma
Grey Sweater Restaurant in Oklahoma City offers a unique, reservation-only dining experience with no set menu and ever-changing ingredients.
Grey Sweater Restaurant is one of the most unique culinary places in the country. The name is based on the color grey which has no allegiance and neither does Grey Sweater...to conventional cooking that is. Here, cooks, chefs, and front-of-the-house staff have the freedom to create, which is one of the things that makes this place out of the ordinary. The restaurant is small in size, only seating 52 guests, and is very hard to get into.
Check it out below, then be sure to make a reservation well in advance by visiting their website or by calling 405-445-6274.
Grey Sweater serves dinner only Wednesday - Saturday from 5:30 - 11:00 p.m. They are located at 100 Northeast 4th Street in Oklahoma City. The best parking for the restaurant is 425 Oklahoma Avenue inside Maywood.
After your reservation, you'll be called by a Grey Sweater Ambassador for about a 3-minute interview to go over any questions you have. Your dinner will feel more like a private dinner party than an evening in a public restaurant.
There is no menu here. When you talk to your Ambassador you simply choose how many courses you would like. The ingredients change weekly, so you never know what will be served.
Chef Andrew Black brought his culinary experience from Jamaica and offers guests a 3-tiered meal.
The food here is unlike any other place you have dined. It's hard to explain (in a good way)...you just need to experience it first hand.
You'll find 18 seats at the dining bar. You can choose to sit anywhere you would like, so if you prefer bar seating, be sure to snag a few seats before they fill up. If you arrive early for your reservation, be sure and try a few cocktails before your meal.
If you're looking for a unique culinary experience that will wow you at every corner, be sure and visit Grey Sweater...just be sure to make a reservation first.
