If you've grown up around Grand Lake in northeastern Oklahoma, then you're no stranger to Cosby's Catfish - home of the best fried catfish in the area. This hidden dining gem serves an all-you-can-eat catfish dinner and it's one of the best feasts you'll ever find.
Cosby's Catfish is located 7 miles east of Disney on Highway 28 at 328 State Highway 28 in Eucha. They were open from 1988 to 2003 then they closed their doors until they opened again in 2016.
Step inside the new dig and you'll feel right at home in this rustic restaurant with a few dining areas and cozy fireplace.
Locals try and keep this place a secret so they can enjoy it all to themselves. But people are starting to hear they are back open and the place is packed during busy hours.
They are famous for their all-you-can-eat fried catfish for only $10.95. The fried catfish is still made from the original recipe and it's as delicious as we remember.
The catfish dinner is served family-style with coleslaw, french fries, hushpuppies, and a relish plate.
If you're not a catfish fan, they feature a 12 oz. ribeye, burgers, corn dogs, and grilled cheese sandwiches.
All the catfish is pond-raised and never frozen. The menu is exactly the way it was when they closed in 2003.
The only thing that is different now compared to the first Cosby's is they accept credit cards. Visit this beloved restaurant Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5-8:30 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday from 1-8:30 p.m.
