You Can Find Delicious Comfort Food At Spearman’s Restaurant, A Small Town Gas Station, In Ohio

Gas station food doesn't always have to be terrible.

Sometimes, it's the assuming restaurants that turn out to be the best restaurants. (This list proves it.) Tucked away in the small town of Howard attached to a gas station, Spearman's Restaurant is the definition of a true hidden gem. It humbly serves up some of the best comfort food in the state—and it's a shame most people don't know about it. Take a look:

Driving by, you might not realize what's hiding in this unassuming gas station off of U.S. Highway 36.

You'll find it at 26155 Coshocton Rd., Howard, OH 43028.

When you step inside, you'll feel like you've been transported to your grandma's kitchen, so you know you're in for a good meal. The atmosphere makes you feel right at home.

You can visit Spearman's Restaurant daily from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.

On the menu, you'll find sandwiches, salads and all your favorite comfort foods. Pictured below is the homemade meatloaf.

Since nearly everything here is homemade, there really isn't a bad choice to make.

You can also stop here for breakfast. Pictured below is the Millwood Omelet, filled with sausage, home fries, onions and cheese.
