From homestyle cooking to local dives and craft pizza, these spots have it all.

Sometimes, it's the restaurants without all the frills that make the best food. Throughout Ohio, you can find local dives that serve unbelievably delicious cuisine if you look closely enough.
The following are just nine more of our favorite unassuming restaurants in the Buckeye State that serve up the most delicious diner food, sandwiches, pizza, burgers, and more. You'll definitely want to add them to your Ohio dining bucket list.
1. The Maid-Rite Sandwich Shoppe, Greenville
"Home of the famous Maid-Rite, Cheese-Rite, and Big Jim," this unsuspecting sandwich shop upholds a strange tradition. Visitors stick their chewing gum outside along the "Wall of Gum" and come inside for what is arguably Ohio's best loose-meat sandwich. You can also order delicious ice cream and shakes, chips, and ice-cold beer.
The Maid-Rite Sandwich Shoppe is open every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Address: 125 N Broadway St., Greenville, OH 45331
2. M&M Family Diner, Logan
For some delicious home cooking and hearty breakfast options just like grandma makes, check out M&M Family Diner in Logan. Grab a fresh, hot stack of pancakes and scrambled eggs, a diner-style burger and fries, or one of the scrumptious homemade desserts—like slices of cherry pie—from the dessert display.
The diner is open from Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Address: 34 W Main St., Logan, OH 43138.
3. Peach's Place, Crooksville
A beloved eatery among locals, this is the perfect place to stop for homemade meals and pizza, depending on what you're in the mood for. It's one of the best hidden gem restaurants in Ohio. We recommend ordering the daily special whenever you go, but of course, you can't go wrong with a fresh, made-to-order pizza.
Peach's Place is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Closed on Sunday and Monday. Address: 121 E Main St., Crooksville, OH 43731.
4. Frednecks Pizza, Bainbridge
In our opinion, this pizza joint makes some of the best pies in the state. Drop into Frednecks Pizza for a delicious slice, ice-cold craft beer, and some live music or local meetups. The brand also owns a mini mart on 144 State Route 772, where you can grab all sorts of salty and sweet snacks for the road, ice-cold drinks, and homemade desserts. Both locations are equally inviting and always up to something fun.

5. Mom’s Restaurant, Franklin
Nobody does it better than mom, right? Connected to a gas station, this unsuspecting restaurant is a hidden gem that serves up exceptional, home-cooked breakfast food. We recommend ordering the biscuits and gravy, but they also have other mouth-watering options like country-fried steak, chicken and dumplings, and more.
