Out in the quaint little city of Batavia, Center Street Smokehouse has been around now for more than fifteen years! Right off of Main Street, this little smokehouse isn't your average restaurant by any means. Turning a historic structure into something new, while this place may have once been newspaper building today it's created a unique atmosphere where you can feast on all sorts of barbecue! 2. Hattie's - Saratoga Springs
Saratoga is known for having plenty of amazing options when it comes to find a place to eat. Just a two-minute walk from Congress Park, Hattie's is the southern shack that you were never expecting to find in Upstate New York. Serving Southern and Louisiana cuisine, over the years one of Hattie's most talked about menu items has become their incredible fried chicken. While you're dining you'll feel like someone transported you down into New Orleans, one of our favorite things about Hattie's is their generously-sized portions.

3. Funk 'n Waffles - Syracuse
Closing its original location roughly a year ago, today Funk 'n Waffles can be found right on South Clinton Street! Still in Syracuse, this favorite waffle-themed restaurant is exactly what it sounds like - funky! Featuring live music and all sorts of waffles, Funk 'n Waffles is a high-energy spot that will have you smiling from ear to ear. Wondering what sort of things you'll find on their menu? You can expect to find goodies like their James Brownie - a brownie waffle with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce as well as things like their Star Child waffle that comes with strawberries and whipped cream!

4. Trailer Park Lounge - New York City
It's no secret that there are plenty of well... strange places to dine in New York City. But one of the most unusual restaurants by far is Chelsea's Trailer Park Lounge. Fully embracing a white-trash theme from floor to ceiling, this restaurant literally has a trailer inside of it. Decorating the restaurant you'll find everything from provocative mannequins and pieces of nostalgia to holiday lights and vintage signs. 5. Maureen's Kitchen - Smithtown
One of our favorite restaurants on this list, Maureen's Kitchen is wacky in the best way possible. Before you even walk through the door you'll quickly recognize the theme of the restaurant, with a famous cow situated out on the front lawn. Inside Maureen's you'll find almost everything covered in cow-print, with crowds of hungry visitors waiting to chow down on some of the most incredible breakfast food you'll ever have out on Long Island.

6. The Pandorica - Beacon
If you aren't familiar with the show Dr. Who, then this particular Beacon restaurant may very well be the most wacky restaurant you've ever stepped foot inside. Designed to make you feel as though you've stepped right inside Dr. Who's world, you'll find life-size creatures greeting you in the restaurant as well as plenty of other little nods to the show that only true fans will recognize. Like crossing over into another dimension all while you're still right on Main Street, The Pandorica has a wonderful menu made up of dishes that will fill you right up.

7. Maggie's Krooked Cafe - Tannersville
On a street where you can find just about every type of restaurant, Maggie's Krooked Cafe stands out with its whimsical atmosphere. Open since 1986, once you're dining in at Maggie's you'll quickly notice all of the artwork hanging up on their walls and even tree limbs that are decorated in neon lights. A great spot to enjoy with friends, Maggie's menu is full of classic dishes with a great gourmet spin.

10. Cup And Saucer Diner - Pine Bush
Located in one of New York's most unusual towns, the Cup and Saucer Diner pays homage to Pine Bush's unusual history.
