So, what exactly is the story behind this historic diner? We'd love to tell you! Built out in the Rochester area in the 1920s, these diners were made with wheels on them so that they could be transported and shipped on railroad tracks. After making its way to Glens Falls in 1927, the diner was pulled around town by horses so that local workers could enjoy great food on their lunch breaks.

After spending time in Glens Falls, the diner eventually made its way to the town of Port Henry in 1933 and has been a local gem ever since. Now owned and operated by Don Foote, Foote has transformed the little diner car over the years — expanding to create a modern kitchen, a larger dining room and necessities like bathrooms for the hungry folks who visit here.
