The Secret Door That Takes You To The Best Little Bar In New Jersey

Discover a hidden speakeasy in New Jersey disguised as a laundromat, offering craft beers, creative cocktails, and live music.

While there’s no need for speakeasies anymore, they’re still a ton of fun. Who doesn’t love a secret? New Jersey has some of the best speakeasies around, one of which can be found hidden underneath an incredible Asian fusion restaurant. But we’ve got another hidden door speakeasy that will blow you away with its level of stealth…you could walk right by this laundromat bar in New Jersey and never know it was there.

This bar isn't actually a laundromat, though it certainly looks like one from the outside.

Even when you take a peek inside, nothing about this spot says "bar." Though the small marquee reading, "live music" may give you a clue you've found the right spot.

But those washing machines at the end of the hall aren't washing machines...they're doors to an incredible 23 and up bar.

Opened in 2016, this unique bar/speakeasy is located underground. Just head down the stairs to find...

A sleek, modern bar with a bit of rustic charm.

You'll find a wide range of drinks including craft beer and creative cocktails. Make sure to check for fun drink specials.

There's live music nightly (think soft jazz, blues, and funk), including an open mic on Wednesdays.

This sophisticated spot is less rowdy, and more classy, though people do still confuse it for its namesake every now and then. You can find it at 4 Dehart Street in Morristown, open from 5 p.m. – 2 a.m., Wednesday-Sunday.
