Feast On Scrumptious New Jersey BBQ That Has Won More Than 200 Awards
Fat Jack’s BBQ in Turnersville, NJ, serves award-winning barbecue with a mix of classic and Mexican fusion dishes.
New Jersey is a top barbecue town, with some of the best smoked meats out there served in the most unlikely of locations. Who knew you could get award-winning barbecue in NJ at a tiny restaurant in the small town of Turnersville? Fat Jack's BBQ, one of the newest buzz-worthy arrivals on the NJ barbecue scene, serves all the classics done to perfection. It's not hard to see why this is an award-winning restaurant - and not just any awards! Fat Jack's has won over two hundred of the most prestigious awards in the barbecue competition circuit, but you don't have to wait until the next cook-off. You can just check into Fat Jack's BBQ, where you can choose between simple smoked meat platters or unique Mexican fusion. It's one of my favorite new bbq joints in New Jersey, and I bet it'll be one of yours too.
Fat Jack's BBQ looks like it could be built into any old roadside fast food joint - but the food here is slow-smoked and top-notch.
Inside, you'll find a restaurant with lots of BBQ decor on the walls and the dominant smell of delicious smoked meat.
If you ask most experts, the specialty here is the slow-smoked pork. A classic pulled pork sandwich can't be beat!
However, we'd be remiss not to mention the ribs, with an intense dry-rub that wins competitions...
Or the BBQ chicken, often an oversight at many joints but here given an intense coating of house-made barbecue sauce.
The sides here get just as much love as the meats - don't miss the creamy mac and cheese or the crispy fries!
If you're feeling adventurous, head over to the Mexican specials for some Brisket tacos!
Ending your meal with a slice of red velvet cake is the perfect Southern capper to a meal at Fat Jack's BBQ.
