The Brand New Restaurant In New Hampshire That Locals Can’t Get Enough Of

I don't eat out a lot, but whenever a new restaurant pops up in my city, I'm always curious to check it out. New tastes, a new dining atmosphere; it's all good. I'm also especially drawn toward local independent restaurants rather than the big chains. I'll pass on those. For foodies in the greater seacoast area, a new restaurant in Dover is beginning to attract attention due to its globally-inspired cuisine.

Gallivant Global Eatery in Dover is a new restaurant on Central Avenue with a menu based on owner Kristen French's world travels.

Much of the menu is inspired by French's personal experiences and love for different cultural foods. The name of the establishment is taken from its meaning "to travel in search of entertainment and pleasure."

Gallivant is mainly a brunch restaurant with an ever-changing menu of small dishes, salads, entrees, and desserts.

No brunch is complete without cocktails and Gallivant will help you to pair your favorite dish with the ideal libation.

Eclectic items on the menu include tiramisu french toast, a Hong Kong-style bubble waffle, food truck shrimp and grits, citrus and fennel salad, and guava and cheese empanada.

For private parties, Gallivant offers the entire restaurant or a private function room for that special occasion.

If you're in the area, give this new restaurant in Dover a try. You'll be glad you did! To learn more and to view a menu, visit the Gallivant Global Eatery website and be sure to follow Gallivant Global Eatery on Facebook.
