This Unique Restaurant In Nevada Will Give You An Unforgettable Dining Experience
There’s one thing we know for sure: You don’t have to look far in Nevada for some seriously amazing dining. From gigantic buffets to hole-in-the-wall diners to fine dining, Nevada has you covered. If you’re a wine connoisseur looking for a unique dining experience, Aureole in Las Vegas is a great choice.
The Aureole restaurant is located at Mandalay Bay Resort, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas.
You’ll be seated in one of five dining rooms. Swan Court offers floor-to-ceiling views of the terrace with its pretty, relaxing waterfall.
If you can’t find a bottle of wine to your liking at this restaurant, you’re not looking very hard. The four-story wine tower houses more than 10,000 bottles. The restaurant stores another 50,000 bottles in the back of the house, for a total of 60,000 bottles on the premises.
Aureole has won numerous accolades for its wine selection. It’s a continual recipient of the Wine Spectator Grand Award since 1999. Wine Enthusiast named it one of the top 100 Best Wine Restaurants in the U.S. for 2016.
Once you choose a bottle, a "Flying Wine Angel" flies up to the wine vault to retrieve your selection. You can watch these angels throughout the evening---an unique form of entertainment to be sure.
The food at Aureole is every bit as good as the wine it accompanies. The Colorado lamb chops or Mary’s Free Range Chicken are both popular choices. For a special treat, choose the six-course tasting menu, which you can also order with a supplemental wine pairing for an additional cost.
It should be no surprise that Aureole’s desserts are as unique as the rest of the restaurant’s features. They’re almost too beautiful to eat...but they’re so incredibly decadent, that you’ll dig in anyway.
Join Aureole for Happy Hour, where you’ll enjoy a selection of wine or well drinks for just $9, and some delicious Small Plates. These are the sirloin sliders.
Aureole offers special deals to Nevada locals. Make sure to mention to your waiter that you’re a Nevadan. You’ll receive a 15% discount on food and drinks (not including Happy Hour or the small plates menu). You can also order a free dessert cocktail and get priority reservations.
