If you are in the mood for a whimsical dining experience, check out the Mermaid Restaurant and Lounge in Las Vegas. Here you can dine on standard lunch fare (with some seafood options, of course) as you are mesmerized by a huge fish tank filled with colorful fish and mermaids. Yes, mermaids.

The Mermaid Restaurant and Lounge is located inside the Silverton Casino Lodge at 3333 Blue Diamond Road in south Las Vegas.

A truly unique dining experience, visitors can eat sumptuous fare while watching the beautiful 117,000-gallon saltwater aquarium that is home to 4,000 mesmerizing tropical fish and beautiful mermaids.

...to clear, fish-filled aquariums, visitors are treated to a truly memorable and special experience.

The resident mermaids put on a live show every 30 minutes or so.

If you can suspend your disbelief (and ignore the oxygen tubes/masks for the mermaids' safety), it is quite fun watching these lovely ladies playing with the fish, doing acrobatic moves, and interacting with the audience.

Children are especially mesmerized by the underwater spectacle.
