Hang Out In An Igloo At This One-Of-A-Kind Montana Brewery

Montana's beer scene has skyrocketed in recent years, and at this point, our breweries are more fun to spend time in than our bars. That's certainly true of Missoula's Pavilion Brewery Taphouse, where you can sip Highlander beer inside a luxury igloo.

Highlander Beer's Pavilion Brewery Taphouse is located at 200 International Drive in Missoula.

Highlander Beer was founded in 1890, and it's making a huge comeback.

Highlander regularly hosts events, like comedy nights and live music.

But even on a standard day, it's a great place to hang out.

Highlander Beer has survived the Prohibition era. And although the original brewery closed its doors in 1964, it reopened in the summer of 2015.

And it's better than ever.

But the best way to enjoy the beer here is definitely from inside one of the heated igloos.

This way, you can enjoy the great outdoors in the dead of winter from the comfort of your heated space.

The igloos are available by reservation only, and you must reserve 24 hours in advance.

You can rent your igloo in 2 hour time slots, and they seat up to 6 people.

A 2 hour rental costs $30, and that includes full service.

For $75, you can have pizza and salad in the igloo with your beer.

The Highlander Beer Pavilion Brewery Taphouse is open daily from noon until 8 p.m.
