The Humble Little Restaurant Montanans Are Quietly Obsessed With
Little Montana in Ronan, Montana, offers creative and homemade breakfast and lunch options that have quickly earned a great reputation.
No matter what part of Montana you call home, you've probably heard of some of our more famous eateries, like Sir Scott's Oasis steakhouse. But as delicious as the food at those well-known spots are, we've also got plenty of smaller hidden gems that we absolutely love.
Early in 2018, a family-style restaurant called Little Montana opened in Ronan. And while "little" may be in the name, the portions here are anything but.
Little Montana is located at 63452 US Highway 93 in Ronan, across the street from the town pump.
They're open daily, and while the hours vary, they're mainly a breakfast and lunch spot.
The restaurant is owned by Guy Hill and Sean Perry, who have owned and operated several other Montana eateries.
Hill had owned and operated Old World Deli in Polson for over 5 years, and they also operated Perry’s Pancake House out of Lake Bar. You'll see plenty of creative pancake combinations at Little Montana.
While pancakes are far from the only thing on the menu, they're a pretty tempting option.
Consider splitting a stack with your dining companions so you can try them.
Everything here is homemade, which is probably why Montanans love it so much.
In the short time it has been open, it has already earned an amazing reputation.
The menu at Little Montana always includes classic breakfast and lunch entrees, but you can expect daily specials as well.
Perry and Hill love to get creative.
The next time you're in Ronan, stop by and give this place a try.
You'll see that it's well worth the hype.
Sometimes the best food is served from the most unassuming restaurants.
