If you don't already believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you will after you start your morning here. In a city with no shortage of spots to go for breakfast, Jam! on Main stands out. Their version of biscuits and gravy is out-of-this-world. Located in the small town of Drummond, Parker's Restaurant is known for its massive burgers, which come in almost 140 combinations. Deciding which burger to order here is never easy, so you may have to come back a few times and try a variety.
4. April: Lucca's, Helena
Whether you're looking for a romantic date night restaurant, a special occasion spot, or you just really, really love Italian food, Lucca's never disappoints. Despite being one of the best fine dining experiences in Montana, the restaurant has a laid-back, comforting feel that pairs perfectly with its family-style servings. From the homemade bread and butter to the piping hot lasagna, there's no wrong order here. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and during the legislative session in Helena.
5. May: Lolo Creek Steakhouse, Lolo

9. September: Bar 47, White Sulphur Springs
The motto at Bar 47 is "Where Western gets Western." Located on Main Street in White Sulphur Springs, Bar 47 is the kind of place you might expect to find in a larger city – except it's in a tiny town. The elevated pub fare is out of this world. Get the burger, nachos, or fish tacos here, and you won't be disappointed.
10. October: Biga Pizza, Missoula

Temperatures really are dropping this month, so why not warm up with a sizzling hot pie from Biga Pizza in Missoula? This beloved neighborhood joint serves up pizzas from a giant brick oven, and the flavors are truly inspired. If you want something really special, try the goat cheese pizza! Whether you dine in or grab a pizza to go, this neighborhood favorite is perfect for crisp fall evenings.
11. November: Boxcar Bistro, Missoula
Boxcar Bistro is relatively new to the Missoula dining scene. Named in honor of Missoula's railroad-heavy past, the eatery has a speakeasy vibe and a rotating menu. It's the kind of place you go to celebrate a special occasion. Of course, any dinner at Boxcar Bistro would qualify as a special occasion. Specials include duck confit and tenderloin. With its rotating menu and intimate setting, reservations are recommended for weekend dinners.
