There are a lot of ways to start your day right in Montana. You could make some coffee and then step outside and set your circadian rhythm with a few minutes in the sun. Or, you could take things one step further and go for a walk or a hike. All of these are great ways to ensure a good morning. But, it's hard to deny that a tasty treat at a local bakery might be the best way to start a day well. For that, we love one particular bakery in Bozeman, Montana.
Welcome to Wild Crumb, the most perfect artisan bakery located in Bozeman.
This spot is local through and through, but it's not one of those blink-and-you'll-miss-it places. It takes up a large footprint right on N. Wallace Avenue.
Inside, the vibe is light and airy with plenty of natural light and space to enjoy your meal.
But somehow "enjoy" doesn't seem like a strong enough word. Devour might be more appropriate.
The food, like this 9” fruit tart, is made with love using local ingredients as much as possible.
Wild Crumb offers a variety of breads available daily, as well as weekly breads which are available on individual days of the week.
We love the reliability of our favorite bread every week, but we mostly can't get enough of the desserts here. Not only do they taste incredible, but the presentation is top-notch.
This sesame chocolate cherry mousse cake is so pretty we wouldn't want to eat it. But, of course, we would.
In addition to homemade bread and perfect desserts, this bakery in Bozeman, Montana also has sandwiches. The turkey sandwich is a local favorite. It's served on their French demi baguette with basil aioli, turkey, havarti cheese, pickled red onions, and sprouts.
Whatever it is that brings you into Wild Crumb, you'll have a hard time choosing what to leave with.
Wild Crumb is open year-round and almost every day. Before planning your visit, be sure to check out the Wild Crumb website for current hours and menu. You can also follow Wild Crumb on Facebook. They can be reached at 406-579-3454.
Now that you have a great reason to visit Bozeman, how about making it a long weekend? For that, I always check out nearby vacation rentals so I can feel like a local.
