Judging by its name alone, you would think that Montana City would be a large urban area. Instead, it's a small community located about seven miles from Helena in Jefferson County. And while there's not much to this little town, it is home to the iconic Montana City Grill & Saloon. If you love ribs (or any food, really) this place is a must-see.
Montana City Grill & Saloon sits right on Highway 518 in Montana City, where it has been since its 2006 opening.
The large building is impossible to miss.
The ambiance here can best be described as family-friendly, casual fine dining.
While the food here is top-notch, the restaurant is low-key. You'll see people celebrating special occasions and visitors just passing through.
Quite a few people make the drive from Helena to dine here, and for good reason - the food is delicious.
You might not expect a place that looks so casual to have such a top-notch menu, but prepare to be pleasantly surprised.
From the extensive steak and seafood list to the BBQ pit menu, you'll find what you're craving here.
Treat yourself to some tasty lobster tail or Alaskan King crab legs if you're feeling fancy.
But if you love ribs (and we think you'll love these ribs) you should come on a Tuesday.
On Tuesdays, you can eat as many ribs as you possibly can for one set price.
The beef ribs and huckleberry pork ribs are equally as appetizing.
You can always sample both on all-you-can-eat rib night.
Montana City Grill also serves tasty appetizers, chicken wings, pasta, and practically any comfort food you can think of.
Come for the ribs, stay for the entire menu.
Doesn't this food look delicious? Montana City Grill is open daily for lunch and dinner. Rib night, anyone?
