Montana's restaurant scene has come a long way in recent years, especially in the larger cities. That being said, when it comes down to it, the majority of us just want a piping hot meal made with love from a mom & pop kind of place. That's exactly what you'll find at the new 406 Cafe, which has been named Lewistown's best restaurant on more than one occasion. Check it out the next time you're in Central Montana.
You'll find 406 Cafe at 109 W Main Street in downtown Lewistown.
The cafe opened in April of 2021, and it has been a beloved local favorite ever since.
You'll notice the inviting coffee shop atmosphere right away, along with the ambiance and friendly service.
And if the inviting interior doesn't entice you to stick around, the smell of the food cooking surely will.
This place is open for both breakfast and lunch, and the menu for both is fantastic.
If you're craving a good old-fashioned country breakfast, you've come to the right place.
The cafe also serves weekly breakfast specials that are anything but ordinary.
This California Benedict is somehow even more delicious than it looks.
Of course, the lunch menu is equally as excellent.
From homemade soups and chopped salads to specialty sandwiches, you'll find what you're craving.
If you do come for lunch, however, we have to recommend one of the specialty burgers.
They come piled high with toppings, perfectly prepared, and practically impossible to bite without unhinging your jaw.
406 Cafe is open Wednesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. -3 p.m. for breakfast and lunch.
Sunday hours are from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m., but Sundays are reserved for brunch only.
