Mealtime can become pretty routine. After all, how many of us have the time to make a delicious meal every night? Even going to restaurants can become monotonous after a while. Add some pizzazz to your next meal at this build-your-own seafood boil restaurant in Missouri, where you'll create the perfect meal to tantalize your taste buds.
Bring a hearty appetite with you when you visit the Mad Crab, now with two locations in the St. Louis area, a popular eatery that can get pretty crowded.
The Mad Crab doesn't accept reservations, even on busy evenings, and your entire party must be at the restaurant before you can be seated.
Once seated you've got a delicious dilemma on your hands. What kind of seafood boil will make you savor every single bite?
You'll first have to decide what type of seafood will hit the spot. Choose from such favorites as king crab legs, lobster tail, and mussels.
What sides will you pair your boil with - corn on the cob, beef sausage, or boiled eggs, maybe?
Now comes the fun part of choosing your flavor. The Mad Crab offers lemon pepper, garlic sauce, and ragin' Cajun. Or, if you can't decide, request all three.
Just how hot do you like your boil - non-spicy, mild, or medium? Or, do you want to set your mouth on fire with the hottest option? The Mad Crab also serves combos, po'boy, and oysters.
Pull up a chair at The Mad Crab on Olive Boulevard, open Monday through Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Or, stop by Saturday or Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
