Not only does this local eatery have some of the best waterfront views along the Gulf Coast, but it's also cooking up some of the best burgers! Ask any local where to eat in Pass Christian, and it won't take long before someone points you to Sea Level.

Sea Level has been a long-standing staple in the area for over three decades. When it came time for the owners to sell, they had many offers. After all, it’s a bit of a local landmark! But they wanted to hand the keys over to someone who loved Sea Level as much as they did, and they found that person in one of their own employees.

Kyle Thomas had been working at Sea Level since high school, and it was his dream to own the beloved snack shack.

So when it came time to sell, they knew Kyle was the best man for the job. He purchased Sea Level in 2023 and has continued to serve all of the same menu items that have made Sea Level so popular.

Sea Level may only have a few picnic tables outside, but when this is the view... you won’t mind waiting for a table.

There are also plenty of outdoor games to pass the time.

The signature Sea Level burger features two patties with American cheese and a Monterey Jack cheese sauce served on a brioche bun.

The tiny but mighty menu is more than just burgers, though.

The tacos, in particular, are another fan favorite. The hardest part will be deciding which one to get! Blackened shrimp, blackened mahi-mahi, or Jamaican jerk chicken?
