The Timeless Restaurant In Mississippi Where Prices Have Barely Budged Since The 1950s

Edd’s Drive-In in Pascagoula offers a nostalgic dining experience with unchanged prices and quality food since the 1950s.

Nothing says retro like an old fashioned drive-in, especially when the old-fashioned drive-in has prices to match. These kinds of places may be far and few between but they do exist, and you’ll find one in Pascagoula. The classic drive-in has been in business since the 1950s. Over the years, things have barely changed at the Pascagoula eatery – including the prices. Take a look:

This is Edd’s Drive-In. It’s located on Market Street in the coastal town of Pascagoula.

The classic drive-in has been in the business of tasty grub since 1953.

Its chili is one of the top sellers – and it goes great on everything from burgers and hot dogs…

…to fresh-from-the-fryer French fries.

Throughout the decades, Edd’s has remained a local favorite – but that’s not the only thing that hasn’t changed.

The prices have barely budged since Edd’s first opened all those years ago. About $5 covers an entire meal - a meal that consists of quality food, far better than what you'll find at today's fast food restaurants.

The old fashioned experience doesn’t end with the prices, though. Just like drive-ins of the past, orders are placed at a walk-up window, and with no interior dining area, all orders are to-go orders.
