Electrik Maid Bake Shop is located in an unassuming brick building on Pass Road in Biloxi.

Basically a Gulf Coast landmark, the bake shop has been serving Biloxi for nearly 100 years. It first opened in 1924 on Howard Avenue before moving to its current location on Pass Road.

Sticking with what works, not a lot has changed at the bake shop throughout the decades, including the fact that everything is made from scratch.

And it’s the bakery’s devotion to quality sweets and treats — rather than keeping up with changing trends — that’s kept customers coming back.

In fact, for many, a visit to the bakery is tradition, especially around holidays.

King cakes and birthday cakes are among the eatery’s biggest sellers.

The glazed donuts are another customer favorite.

Fresh-baked sandwich bread, pastries, cookies, and petit fours are also part of the delectable fare.
