At first glance, this little hideout looks like, well... a bank. This is because once upon a time, it was. This speakeasy is built—quite literally—in the old United States Mortgage Bond Building's vault. The gorgeous, nine-story building is made of limestone and brick, making it very "official" looking from the outside.

On the inside, however, you'll find this a space that is amazingly modern and surprisingly beautiful, hiding a one-of-a-kind bar and restaurant unlike any other you'll ever find. Where once this old vault lay silent and forgotten for a couple of decades, it is now a happening, vibrant spot for nightlife and date nights. The menu is (rather literally) the chef's kiss to top it all off. You can choose from a classy menu of shared plates, such as a charcuterie board, as well as desserts.

Of course, the drink menu is just as glamorous—and really the highlight of the speakeasy—with a large selection of mouthwateringly tasty mixed drinks that are as beautiful as the decor of the restaurant itself. Pair your drinks with the perfect plates for a low-key, quiet night, away from all the loud youngsters who may otherwise crash your party at another spot. It's something of an orchestra to your palate. The dishes here flirt with your taste buds and leave you satisfied enough for now—but happy to come back for more.
