Feast On Scrumptious Pizza That Has Won Multiple Awards

Casa Pizzeria in Ludlow, Massachusetts, offers award-winning, customizable pizzas with unique crusts and toppings.

Sometimes the best restaurants are found in the most unexpected places. In Ludlow, a little town in Western, Massachusetts, there is a family-owned pizzeria that dishes up award-winning pizza just for the fun of it. If you are like me and love pizza, you have to try Casa Pizzeria.

The staff at Casa Pizzeria put a great deal of pride into their cooking and it definitely reflected in the delicious pies they put out.

They advertise the pizzeria as a hobby shop where they experiment with various ingredients and flavorful combinations. They are a part-time establishment, open for only four hours a day.

Casa Pizzeria specializes in Build Your Own (BYO) pizzas.

They have six different craft-style crusts, four pan-style crusts, and a boatload of toppings to choose from.

Craft-style crusts include New York Style (round pizza with a thin crust), Bostonian Style (toppings under the cheese), and Neapolitan (traditional Italian style) pizza.

For a unique experience, I suggest trying the Montanara, which is a deep-fried crust similar to fried dough.

You can also choose from several pan-style crusts.

The Detroit (thick crust) and Chicago (deep dish) styles are popular options.

After you choose a crust, it is on to the toppings!

There are so many veggie and meat choices. A few of the more unusual toppings include shaved ribeye steak, banana peppers, and breaded eggplant.

The pizza at Casa Pizzeria is so delicious that the restaurant has won several awards, including a first-place trophy at the New Jersey Pizza & Pasta Northeast Exposition.

Casa Pizzeria also does a busy delivery and pick-up service.

However, if you live outside the area, the pizza is definitely worth the drive!

Have you had the pleasure of dining at Casa Pizzeria? Which of the crusts is your favorite? More information about Casa Pizzeria, including hours and days of operation, can be found on the official Casa Pizzeria website and Casa Pizzeria Facebook.
