That’s because Venezia is something of a hidden gem, tucked away in Dorchester. Most people zip (okay, crawl) by it as they travel along I-93 to or from Boston, unaware that they’re missing out on an Italian eatery with unbeatable river views.

Venezia is located at 20 Ericsson Street, Dorchester, MA 02122. It overlooks the Neponset River right where it flows into the ocean.

The setting is so romantic that this is a popular spot for weddings and special events - the on-site ballroom can hold 350 people.

Venezia is a family-run business that has been open for over 25 years and, during that time, the restaurant has perfected its menu of New England dishes crafted with Italian flair.
