The Beer Garden In Massachusetts That Features Magnificent City Views

A stop at a local open-air beer garden is a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. Pair this experience with beautiful flowers and scenic city views and you have a combination that can't be beat! Last summer I told you all about the gorgeous wildflowers at Boston's Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, but now it is time to focus on the beer! Whether you make it a destination or just a stop within your city travels, a visit to the Trillium Garden on the Greenway will not disappoint.

The Trillium Garden (Boston's first beer garden) has been a fixture on the Rose Kennedy Greenway since 2017. It is the perfect place to stop and relax after a busy day visiting the nearby Faneuil Hall

Marketplace or New England Aquarium.

The beer garden is first come first serve. There is plenty of picnic table seating, but it does get busy on warm weekend days.

Enjoy the views of the Boston city skyline and harbor while you sit back and sip a delicious beer. Be sure to wander through the beautiful greenway garden which is blooming with flowers during the summer months.

The Trillium Garden serves a variety of amazing draft beers as well as seltzer. I can’t wait to try the Peach & Apricot Sour Beer.

You are welcome to bring your own food to enjoy. You can also grab a meal from one of the nearby food trucks. A different truck is featured daily.

Trillium Garden on the Greenway is pet-friendly and is welcoming of well-behaved leashed pups.

The beer garden is open seasonally and is closed on Mondays. On Tuesday through Saturday, you can enjoy a beer under the lights during the Trillium’s nighttime operating hours.

Have you visited the Trillium Garden on the Greenway? How was your experience? Trillium Brewing Company also has Boston locations at Fenway and Fort Point as well as a brewery in Canton. You can find out more information about the Rose Kennedy Greenway location at the Trillium Brewing website and the Trillium Garden on the Greenway Facebook page. If you are looking for another fun way to experience some great beer in Boston, I suggest taking this unique city beer crawl. It is a great way to learn about history while enjoying some fantastic brews.
