Drink Your Way Through New Orleans On The Margarita Marathon
New Orleans offers a variety of restaurants serving exceptional margaritas, perfect for a day drinking adventure.
New Orleans knows a thing or two about drinking. We may not be known for margaritas, but there are several restaurants around the city that are serving up some of the best margaritas you’ve ever tasted, and it’s time you get out and try them. Grab your friends, designate a driver, and let’s do some day drinking, shall we?
From start to finish, this trail is under five miles, so you could easily walk to each location if the weather is nice.
Our first stop is Casa Borrega.
Located in Central City, you can’t go wrong with anything on their cocktail menu, but their margarita menu has some unique variations on the traditional marg that will dazzle your taste buds. While you’re there, you might as well fill up on some of their tasty tacos and authentic Mexican cuisine.

Onward we go. Next stop: Del Fuego Taqueria

Last stop, Sarita’s Grill
Welcome to Sarita’s Grill, where the margaritas are on tap and the flavors are bold. You can order them by the pitcher, so grab your friends and try all the flavors.
