The Tiny Shop In New Orleans That Serves Homemade Ice Cream To Die For

Ice Cream 504 in New Orleans offers unique, homemade ice cream flavors in a cozy and inviting setting.

When it comes to frozen treats in New Orleans, there is no doubt that snowballs rule the day. But slowly but surely, ice cream…especially the homemade kind…is making a comeback. And Ice Cream 504 is definitely one of the best!

Ice Cream 504 has been around over the past few years and has been slowly building up a loyal following.

It's found at 2511 Jena St., and couldn't be more adorable inside and out.

The friendly Mr. Michael makes all of the ice cream himself.

He offers some truly delicious flavors that are very unique.

The interior is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to bring friends.

Just hanging out there on any given day you can bet you'll experience some great company.

But of course the real star of the show here is the ice cream.

There are a huge variety of flavors, including very unique mixes that utilize locally grown ingredients and are reflective of the seasons.

This blueberry basil ice cream is one of my favorites. And the cups are also really special.

So consider a visit to this beautiful ice cream shop. It's really a special New Orleans treasure---and the owner is such a gem.
