If you are looking for some truly delicious Italian style desserts, ice cream, and gelato, you have to head to Angelo Brocatos.

This iconic shop has created a legendary business in New Orleans that is truly a classic.

The shop has been established in New Orleans since 1905.

It began in the French Quarter, founded by the Italian immigrant Angelo Brocato, Sr. Eventually after 80 years on Ursuline St. it moved it's shop to the current location on Carrollton Ave.

The beautiful shop is perfectly decorated to make you feel like you in an old world atmosphere.

It is an amazing way to travel back in time and reminisce about this kind of shop as you would find it throughout Italy.

There are a wide variety of handmade gelato flavors at the shop.

Some of my favorites include amaretto, zuppa inglese, and pancotta. Another favorite of mine is the italian ice...the fresh fruit flavors are incredible, but lemon is always my favorite.

As time has passed, the factory of Angelo Brocato has expanded. Now you can find their flavors and treats across the United States.

It's a huge and growing operation that is bringing smiles to people's faces everywhere.

Oh! And I must mention--their pastries are incredible!

The cannolis here are truly to die for, and incredibly unique.

So if you have ever seen these trucks driving around...you now know what's inside.

Go ahead and do yourself a favor and take a trip to Angelo Brocato.
