The Burger Stand has two locations in Kansas, and in this article, we'll be using photos from the original location, known as The Burger Stand at the Casbah, in Lawrence. You'll also find a second (equally delicious) location in Topeka that's simply The Burger Stand. Each serves up amazing burgers that are hefty and certain to leave you full.

The Burger Stand's Lawrence location was actually originally located inside of a pub when it opened in 2009, but it later moved to its current spot at The Casbah.

Inside, you'll find a full bar with wine, beer on tap, specialty cocktails, and boozy milkshakes. There's also an impressive selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

The atmosphere here is casual and fun. Both locations are quite popular, and it's not uncommon to find a lengthy line, but this place is worth the wait.
