Next time you're serving a crowd - or just have a craving - these restaurants serve up some of the tastiest wings in Indiana.
Of course, there are always Buffalo Wild Wings and WingStop to cover your spicy, saucy cravings, but we went looking for some of the favorite local spots to find great wings across the state!
1. Buffa Louie’s (Bloomington)
A favorite of IUB students, Buffa Louie’s serves up original family recipe, made-to-order wings and was voted one of the top spots for wings in the whole country by USA Today. They have 17 homemade sauces to try!
2. Wings Xtreme U (Bloomington)
With 23 delicious flavors and one of the best happy hours around, Wings Xtreme U is definitely worth checking out. On weeknights, you can get wings for 60 cents each during happy hour, but our favorite part? They offer takeout and delivery service until 1:30am, so when you need a late night fix, Wings Xtreme U has you covered!
3. Peanuts Food and Spirits (Fort Wayne)
You can’t deny that dive bars have the best wings—Peanuts is a great place to grab cheap wings and a pitcher with your friends. The have 18 different sauces to choose from, as well as 2 dry seasoned wings, so there are plenty of flavors to try!
4. Big Daddy’s BBQ (Gary)
Big Daddy’s BBQ has mastered all things meat. They are known for the ribs and tips, but they have plenty of other BBQ favorites!
5. Tower Bar and Grill (Fort Wayne)
This local hangout is a busy spot, so be prepared to wait…but the wings are totally worth it! They have great prices on both wings and drinks, plenty of TVs, and awesome specials. Tower Bar and Grill may not look like anything special from the outside, but just one step inside and you’ll see why everything from the atmosphere to the menu keeps customers coming back for more!
6. Show Me’s (Evansville)
This bar has excellent wings, cheep beer, and great specials! Yum! It can get rowdy on game days, but isn’t that exactly what you want in a sports bar?
7. Wings Etc. (South Bend)
Sure, they have locations all over the state, but if you are looking for delicious hot wings in South Bend, Wings Etc. really is the place to go. Their wings are big, their beer is cold and (like the "etc." in their name proclaims) there are plenty of other options if wings aren’t your thing…but with 19 different sauces to try, we can’t imagine you won’t find a flavor to love!
8. Ale Emporium (Indianapolis)
With over 200 different beers, and tons of TVs to watch the big game, it’s hard to deny that this is an awesome bar…but their "Hermanaki" style wings are what makes them a star! Foursquare named Ale Emporium on their "Best Bar In Every State" list, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait…but they didn’t win that distinction for nothing. Those wings are worth the wait.
9. Keystone Sports Review (Indianapolis)
If you are looking for biggest and best wings in town, Keystone is the place to be! This local favorite has great prices, even better sauces, and plenty of screens to watch the game. Their homemade blue cheese sauce is a must-taste!
