Though its address associates it with Martinsville, this amazing burger joint is actually in the town of Moonshine.

Moonshine is located approximately 140 northeast of East St. Louis, Illinois.

Founded in 1912, the restaurant is the only building in the entire town.

Though its official name is Moonshine Store, it is known by locals as "a wide spot in the road."

The restaurant is open daily but only in the morning ...

... so hurry in for lunch because the grills turn off promptly at 12:30.
