Here at OnlyInYourState, we love checking out new and delicious places to eat. Located right in the middle of two railroad crossings in Idaho Falls is a new restaurant that is serving up burgers, sandwiches, wings, and more. Off The Rails Café is a train-themed restaurant and one place to eat that the entire family will enjoy. Here, you’ll certainly come hungry and leave happy.
You’ll find Off The Rails Café at 465 East Anderson Street in Idaho Falls. This new café is the perfect spot for lunch or dinner or even if you are in the mood for a cold drink.
This family-owned restaurant opened in early 2023 and as you walk inside you’ll notice all of the pictures of trains on the wall, a TV, and an atmosphere where you can easily pull up a seat and stay for a while with good company.
The menu at Off The Rails Café isn’t large but that doesn’t matter much. There are still plenty of options to choose from including several appetizers like wings, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and more.
The burgers are some of the most popular items on the menu. All of the burgers come with double beef patties unless otherwise specified. You can choose from cheeseburgers to BBQ burgers to even a blue cheese burger.
All burgers include lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, and a special sauce.
If you are in the mood for a sandwich, you’ll have options like the French dip, turkey club, and Philly cheesesteak. All of the sandwiches (and burgers) come with French fries.
If you aren’t craving a sandwich or burger, try some of this restaurant's chicken or salads. There is also a kid's menu that features childhood favorites like mini corndogs, chicken tenders, and grilled cheese.
To complement the meal of your choice, order a beer or a cocktail. During Happy Hour from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day, all drinks are buy one get one free.
Off The Rails Café is open Monday through Saturday. It is closed on Sunday each week. You can learn more, including current menu items and hours, on the Off The Rails Café Facebook page.
