What's on the World's Largest McDonald's Menu?

This Epic McD isn't just bigger; it's also got a bigger—and maybe even better—menu. It's completely different from any McDonald's I've ever been to, which is pretty unique, since McDonald's is typically known for its standardization! For example, this particular McDonald's in Florida, like only a few others in the entire world, sells pizza! That's right, they've even got a real pizza oven to prepare these special brick oven pies.

The options don't end there, though. There are pasta dishes, Philly cheesesteaks, waffles, and omelets. You'll even get your food served on real plates.

Of course, they still have classic fast-food items like you'd expect available for ordering. Even the burgers are customizable, though. There's even an impressive assortment of desserts. The layer cakes look absolutely scrumptious, and make sure to check out the elaborate ice cream bar.

With all of these choices, it makes sense that you have to order from a computer. Large-screened kiosks allow you to see all the options available, making it easy to pick and choose, especially for indecisive kids (although adults may also have trouble deciding what to order). The best part? Once you order, you'll be given a number to place on a table, and the order will be delivered to you. No waiting in line for your food!

The Best Family-Friendly Fun: Arcades, Slides, and a 30-Foot Ronald

They've got over 100 games, including all your classic favorites like skeeball, plus tons of brand-new games you may have never played before. The Family Behind The World’s Largest McDonald’s

Our Only In Your State podcast, States of Discovery, has the chance to visit the largest McDonald's in Orlando and speak with the Vice President of Operations, Georgette Lemieux, and Cody Oerther, grandson of the entrepreneur and founder of the world's largest entertainment McDonald's.

While the massive Orlando restaurant is known around the world for its size and entertainment features, it also has a deeply personal story behind it. The location has been operated by the same family for decades, beginning with entrepreneur Gary Oerther, who helped shape the restaurant into the unique attraction it is today.

The current building visitors see today is actually a relatively recent addition. The restaurant was completely rebuilt in 2016, reopening with updated features and a refreshed design while preserving the larger-than-life concept that made it famous.

Cody Oerther, whose family has long been connected to the restaurant, explained that the rebuild marked an important moment for them. “We rebuilt in 2016,” he shared, noting that the reopening drew significant attention as the iconic location entered a new chapter.

For the Oerther family, the restaurant is more than just a popular tourist stop—it’s a legacy. Cody’s grandfather, Gary Oerther, was widely known for his entrepreneurial spirit and vision within the McDonald’s franchise system. His willingness to experiment helped transform the restaurant into something far beyond a typical fast-food location.

“Gary is like the patriarch,” Cody said during the conversation. “You can Google him—he was a true entrepreneur.”

Gary Oerther passed away in September 2016, shortly after the newly rebuilt restaurant opened its doors. His son, Greg Oerther, stepped in to continue running the location and carrying forward the family’s long-standing involvement with the restaurant.

According to Cody, his grandfather represented a different era of franchising, when owners had more freedom to bring bold ideas to life. “McDonald’s is kind of regulated right now,” he explained. “So that spirit is no longer around like it used to be.”

Even so, the family remains proud of what the Orlando restaurant has become. Today, the towering two-story location continues to draw visitors from around the world—both for its massive size and for the family story that helped make it possible.
