Sip And Sample Your Way Through The Nutmeg State On The Connecticut Wine Trail

We might not yet be to the worldwide fame of Napa Valley, but the wine industry in the Nutmeg State is booming. If you're looking to try out some of the products from the best wineries in Connecticut, it's time to take a trip down the Connecticut Wine Trail. There are currently more than 50 wineries in the state, and even if you're not a big wine fan, I find visiting vineyards to be a fun day out in nature. The tours are often quite informative, and, of course, the tastings are a big plus! Let's take a peek at some of our favorite wineries on the Connecticut Wine Trail:

The Connecticut Wine Trail features tons of great wineries spread all through the state.

The spring edition of the Connecticut Wine Trail begins in April 2024.

While specific announcements have yet to be made, the wine trail generally includes getting a passport stamped at various Connecticut wineries as you visit for tastings throughout the year.

Participants who obtain stamps for every winery on the trail are typically eligible for a grand prize.

Different wineries on the trail may offer discounts and specials for passport holders.

This is such a fun way to explore new regions of the state, especially in the warmer months when everything is green.

I've gotta say, these look pretty amazing for a hot summer's day!
