These 10 Restaurants Serve The Best Hispanic Food In Connecticut

If you're like me, then you love hispanic foods. When I find a great Mexican restaurant, or a secret Latin-American joint, I am always overjoyed. Tacos, empanadas, tamales and everything in between can be found right here in Connecticut if you know where to look. But lucky for you, we've done all the looking! Definitely consider these for your next date night.

1. Brasitas (Stamford)

There are a couple of locations in the state, but Stamford is my favorite. Definitely try the plantains because they are to die for!

2. Sayulita (South Glastonbury)

My goodness, these tacos are from another planet! You can't go wrong here.

3. Baja's (Orange)

Strong flavors and even stronger margaritas make this place perfect for a Friday or Saturday night.

4. Ceviche Latin Kitchen (Middlebury)

Between the ambiance and the deals, this place will bring out the party animal in you. Perfect after a hard day of work.

5. Monte Alban (Hartford)

You get nice sized portions here for a pretty low price, and the service is fantastic.

6. Besito (West Hartford)

The food here is less spicy, which is great for folks who can't handle heat; the taste is just as great without the burn.

7. Tequila Mockingbird (New Canaan)

Outdoor seating is just one of the draws to this very popular establishment. I'd definitely recommend getting a reservation!

8. Mezon Tapas Bar & Restaurant (Danbury)

Even the coffee here is amazing, but I go for the pork carnitas.

9. Bodega Taco Bar (Fairfield)

This hidden gem is tucked in a corner of Heritage Square on Post Road, but it deserves to shine. Make sure you save room for dessert!

10. Olea (New Haven)

These chefs plate masterpieces, offering some of the most colorful dishes I've seen. Visually stunning and also delicious!
