Avon Old Farms Hotel is a wonderful four-star hotel in the heart of the Farmington River Valley. The hotel boasts 154 rooms and 10 beautiful acres, but you don't have to spend the night to experience all the amenities.
The hotel's Seasons Restaurant and Tap Room is open to the public and features a delicious upscale dining experience throughout the week.
It's the Sunday brunch buffet where Seasons Restaurant really shines, though. Each Sunday, you'll find an elaborate spread fit for royalty.
The carving station serves up a variety of meats, plus there are fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, and granola available.
No matter what type of brunch foods you prefer, there's something here for everyone. You can even get shrimp and salmon at the buffet, or made-to-order omelettes.
The waffle station features freshly-made waffles along with strawberries and whipped cream... yum!
