Are you ready to enjoy a delightfully delicious and fun dining experience unlike any other you may have experienced? Han Restaurant in Hartford is where you want to go to experience an authentic Asian hotpot experience that puts you in charge of the cooking right at your table.
The Han Restaurant hotpot experience is one that is deliciously fun and unique. The menu is extensive and there is plenty of food to choose from, so make sure you bring a friend or the family along to enjoy the experience.
You will have your choice of the classic hot pot with up to four soup flavors to try or you can order the individual mini hot pots.
Your first stop before you begin is at the fun dipping station. Here you can mix together your own combinations of available dipping sauces.
Choose from combinations of sauces including oyster sauce, peanut sauce, cilantro, scallions, and sesame oil just to name a few. You'll find a variety of sauces and extras that will be sure to enhance your flavor experience.
Choose from eight possible soup broths with choices such as hot and spicy, mushroom, pickled vegetable, or herbal. Once the broth begins to boil, then the cooking fun begins.
Pick from proteins such as chicken, lamb, beef, fish, shrimp, or tofu. The meat is thin, so it cooks quickly. You will also be given a plate of fresh vegetables, such as pea pods, mushrooms, corn, broccoli, white potato slices, and water chestnuts.
Instructions are available at the table and the wait staff can answer questions about cooking guidelines, as well as techniques for each of the foods that you choose for your hotpot.
If you aren't sure if the hotpot will be filling enough, you also have options of adding noodles and rice, as well as a sampling of scrumptious appetizers such as chicken wings, scallion pancakes, spring rolls, and wontons.
