These Colorado Teens Opened Their Own Bakeshop During The Pandemic And It Cannot Be Missed

Little Sistas Treats, started by two teenage sisters during the Covid-19 pandemic, offers a variety of unique and delicious desserts in Highlands Ranch.

Could you use a feel-good story that is sure to both satisfy your sweet tooth and make you smile? If so, we have the perfect one for you! If you are a longtime reader of Only in Colorado, you know that we love supporting local businesses, just like that of the inspiring (and delicious!) new Little Sistas Treats:

Based out of Highlands Ranch, Little Sistas Treats is the creation of 2 teenage sisters who set out to start their own business amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

What began as 4-year-old Char'Les Hawkins' dream finally came to fruition in 2020, with the now 10-year-old and her older sister, Zyaire, creating delectable treats from their family home.

Thanks to both word-of-mouth and social media, the sisters' sweetshop - which offers both local pickup and a food stand at select special events - took off, making it the Mile High City's new favorite!

When you visit Little Sistas Treats, you are guaranteed some of the best treats you have ever tasted, including cupcakes, donuts, cookies, and rice krispy treats.

In addition to these favorites (with a twist), Little Sistas Treats also sells unique desserts like mouthwatering cheesecake cones and mini pies.

Can't decide which to choose? Little Sistas Treats offers sampler boxes, too!
