It's far more than just a restaurant - it's an experience. After concerns about it's future during the pandemic, it has been saved and revitalized, and now it's better than ever. If you haven't been before, you NEED to go there as soon as possible, and if you have been in the past, you must go again. Casa Bonita is a beautiful and glorious landmark in Lakewood, Colorado. It first opened back in 1974 and was at one time part of a chain. Today, it's the only one that remains, and we are so lucky to have it in Colorado.

There was a good chance this place was going under during the pandemic, but thanks to the creators of South Park, it was saved, and now we can continue to enjoy it for years to come.

Although anyone who has ever visited Casa Bonita has raved about the unique experience they've had there, the food was, well, terrible, for many many years. One of the biggest changes after its reopening was a big improvement to the menu, which now offers food that is not only edible, but that is actually quite good.

But, people don't go to Casa Bonita for the food. They go for the experience and adventure. When you step inside this place, you step into an entirely different world. It's huge, and it's fantastic.

Ask for a table by the waterfall, if you can. It's the center of the action at Casa Bonita.

If all the waterfall-side tables are taken, though, you can dine in other cool environments, like this one.
