Big Al's Diner is an unassuming little spot at 12600 Larchmere Blvd. in Cleveland. It really doesn't look like much from the outside...
...but it's typically full of locals enjoying a delicious meal. In fact, sometimes you'll wait in a long line for a table. Things move along pretty quickly, so hang in there.. .the wait is well worth it!
You'll love the old-school vinyl booths and checker-board floor. Authentic diners are hard to come by these days, but Big Al's is the real deal.
This place really shines for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are divine.
The Veggie Bennie with homefries will make your morning perfect.
The corned beef has breakfast is classic diner fare, and Big Ed's knocks this one out of the park.
For lunch, the Rueben will really hit the spot.
Visit Big Al's Diner Monday through Saturday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm; sleep in a little on Sunday - they open at 7:00 am.
