Open daily for breakfast and lunch from 7am-2pm.

2. Ocean Diner -- Hermosa Beach

Not only is this diner too cute for words on the inside and out, but the food served in this cozy gem is quite delicious. If you love something sweet for breakfast make sure you try the strawberry cheesecake waffle. You will be full for days after devouring this decadent feast.

3. Nickel Diner -- Los Angeles

The Nickel Diner in Los Angeles is an upscale take on the classic diner experience in downtown Los Angeles. A few of the specialties I can't help but daydream about include fried chicken, pancakes with a heaping serving of fresh blueberries on top, and maple glazed donuts with salty bacon. What delicious heaven!

4. Jenny's Diner -- Highland

A local favorite in Inland Empire, Jenny's Diner has that classic diner look and feel with all of the comfort foods you'd expect to find on the menu. Corned beef hash and chicken fried steak are just two of the favorites you must try at this homestyle diner.

5. Woody's Diner -- Huntington Beach and other SoCal locations

With six different locations throughout Southern California, there's most likely a Woody's Diner near you. With a classic 1950s SoCal surfer theme, this charming diner feels like a blast from the past. The original location opened in Huntington Beach in 1987, and twenty years later this local gem is still thriving. Feast on breakfast all day or check out their dinner menu which features some tasty burgers stacked high with your favorite toppings.

6. Harry's Coffee Shop -- La Jolla

Harry's Coffee Shop is like a familiar friend in the neighborhood. Since 1960, this family-owned diner has been serving comfort food in the La Jolla neighborhood with heaping portions and reasonable prices. 7. Perry's Café -- San Diego

Located in Old Town San Diego, this bustling restaurant is always packed with people and there's a good reason for it.
