There’s A Chinese Lantern Festival Coming To Alabama And It’s Downright Magical

The Wild — A Chinese Lantern Festival at Huntsville Botanical Garden features over 1,000 illuminated lantern displays and live Kung Fu performances.

Alabama hosts many types of festivals throughout the year. The one festival you don't want to miss is The Wild — A Chinese Lantern Festival. It's the perfect attraction for the entire family. For information, take a look below.

The Wild — A Chinese Lantern Festival will take place at Huntsville Botanical Garden from March 20, 2019, to May 19, 2019. During this unique festival, visitors will get to experience a wonderful exhibition of Chinese art and culture.

With more than 1,000 illuminated lantern displays at this year's festival, it'll be Huntsville Botanical Garden's largest exhibit to date.

The illuminated displays will represent wildlife (plus dinosaurs) from around the world. Both children and adults will enjoy strolling the grounds and viewing these unique pieces of art.

From beautiful flowers, adorable bugs...

...and monkeys hanging out by trees...

...to peacocks...

...dinosaurs...

...and even pandas, you'll be in awe of this magical display.

In addition to beautifully illuminated lantern displays, you can also expect live Kung Fu performances this year. These are popular among all ages.

A unique marketplace will also be on-site selling a variety of authentic Chinese folk arts and crafts.
