Not only has the Mai-Kai been called the best tiki restaurant in the world, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The atmosphere will transport you to the South Pacific. Tiki torches and Polynesian artifacts are everywhere you look, and some are more than 100 years old.
There's even a unique thatched roof that adds to the charming ambiance.
Before or after your meal, take a stroll through the beautiful tropical gardens. Here, you'll see lovely stone features, waterfalls, and tiki statues.
The menu is full of Polynesian and Asian-inspired dishes, and the drink menu hasn't changed much since the restaurant opened in the mid 1950s.
They still serve the original Don the Beachcomber drink recipes. Believe us, each one is absolutely delicious.
The restaurant's Polynesian show, The Mai-Kai Islanders Revue, started in 1962 and is the longest running show of its kind in the country.
