Walk Through A Frozen, Crystal-Clear Wonderland Made With 50 Tons Of Ice At The Ice Xperience In Wisconsin
The Ice Xperience in Wisconsin is a magical pop-up ice attraction featuring intricate ice sculptures and interactive elements.
Between the frigid temperatures and snow, it’s easy to dread winter in Wisconsin. But what if we told you there’s a new attraction that’s designed to make you embrace the season? It’s true, and it’s called The Ice Xperience. Said to be like "entering the wardrobe of Narnia," the pop-up ice attraction is absolutely magical, and you don’t want to miss it. Take a look:
Only in Wisconsin for a few months, The Ice Xperience is open November 7, 2019, through March 1, 2020.
During the dates above, The Ice Xperience is open Wednesday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
So, what exactly is The Ice Xperience? It’s a “multi-visual attraction” that features more than 900-square-feet of ice sculptures. But not just any ice sculptures.
The ice sculptures that make up The Ice Xperience have been created by 3 national and international ice sculpting champions.
Overall, 50 tons of crystal clear ice are used to create the pop-up attraction, which is like something from a magical winter wonderland.
Featuring intricate details, the sculptures are quite the sight. But you can do more than look at them. There are several interactive sculptures, including an ice throne and motorcycle — both of which you can sit on.
There’s more to The Ice Xperience than sculptures, though. A warming tent with beverages and music and food trucks are also part of the icy fun.
Tickets are $25 and include 30 minutes in The Ice Xperience as well as access to the warming tent, entertainment, fire pit, beer, hot chocolate, and food trucks when available.
If you do visit, remember to dress warmly. It’s 23 degrees inside The Ice Xperience!
