Winter has finally and officially set in and if you're anything like me, once I get over the shock of winter temperatures, I'm ready to full on enjoy everything a Wisconsin winter has to offer. We Wisconsinites tend to embrace the cold and the snow and make the best of it while it's here. That means getting out and enjoying our beautiful state and all the wintertime adventures our landscape allows. One great, family-friendly way to enjoy the snow is tubing. There are a bunch of great tubing spots across the state, but Badlands Sno-Park in Hudson is one of the favorites. It's been around for decades and this year you'll want to check out what is arguably the best snow tubing hill in Wisconsin.
Badlands really is fun for the whole family, from little ones or beginners on up to the biggest daredevils. While other mountains might have tubing runs alongside snowboarders and skiiers, Badlands caters only to snow tubing.
There are six different lighted runs here that start with the "bunny hill" and go up to "turbo tubing."
You cannot possibly get bored with the trails that make up the best snow tubing hill in Wisconsin. And at just $20 for an entire day, you will easily get your money's worth.
The most crucial part of any good tubing spot is getting you back to the top of the hill easily and without walking. Here they've got simple tow ropes and they'll make sure everyone is trained and comfortable with how to use them.

Badlands make and groom their own snow to ensure the winter fun never stops despite the weather, and is open from mid-December to early March. Badlands is fun for all ages, so plan to take a date, your family or a big group of friends to have the time of your life. You will not regret it.
When you're done tubing or just in need of a rest and refuel, there's an inviting chalet that's the perfect place to warm up and grab a snack. The hills are open Wednesday and Thursday from 4 pm - 8 pm, Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Just writing about it makes me antsy to get on my snow gear and head out to Hudson for the perfect day enjoying the snow.
