Looking to get your fill of cold-weather thrills? Got a need for speed? If so, you’ve got to visit Cascade Mountain! The perfect place to spend a cold day, Cascade Mountain is a winter park with lots of perks, including a 900-foot snow tubing chute. Take a look:
Located in Portage, Cascade Mountain is “the Midwest's premier family ski and snowboard destination.”
Definitely worthy of the distinction, Cascade Mountain boasts dozens of trails, four terrain parks, and…
…a 900-foot-long chute for snow tubing.
Imagine the thrill of sliding down a snowy chute that extends for 900 feet!
And once at the bottom of the chute, tubers can hop aboard a magic carpet lift for an effortless ride back up to the top.
Unlike some winter parks, Cascade Mountain doesn’t have any restrictions based on age, height, etc. Instead, it’s left up to parents/guardians to determine if a child can safely snow tube alone.
Like most winter parks, tube rentals are included with admission to Cascade Mountain. Speaking of admission, it’s important to remember that you’ve got to purchase tickets in advance.
Also, tickets, which are good for two hours of snow tubing fun, vary in price depending on your age and the time/day of your visit.
