A Visit To This West Virginia Toy Museum Will Bring Back Your Favorite Childhood Memories

Sometimes it's the little things that spark nostalgia for simpler times. An old song, the smell of your favorite cookies, or the sight of a beloved old toy can send your mind on a trip back in time. You're sure to get that experience many times over with a visit to this toy and train museum in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum is located inside a renovated old schoolhouse.

The classrooms inside are filled with toys!

A sunny C-2019 caboose outside lets you know that you've come to the right place.

Inside the lobby there's an impressive Lego display.

Wander through the classrooms, and you'll find many miniature displays and trains.

There's a room featuring an entire K’Nex amusement park that is made from over 250,000 individual pieces connected without any structural glue.

K-Land took over 7,000 man hours to complete. It has roller coasters, rides, and even people waiting in line. This room has over 8,000 LED lights and simulates both night and day time.

There's a slot car layout with tracks that run around a tiny town.

And you can drive the cars!

The museum has a doll room filled with dollhouses, Barbies, baby dolls, Cabbage Patch Kids, and more.

There's a game room with toys like Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, pinball games, and many board games.

While many of the toys are collector's items and can't be touched, each of the rooms also has places to play.

Perfect for kids, or kids at heart.

Before you leave, check out the gift shop for treasures that you can take home.

New memories start right here.
