Located in the old Buckeye School building on a hairpin turn of the Seneca Trail outside of Marlinton, this bookstore is bursting with the sort of wealth that is only found on the printed page.

With roughly 40,000 books stuffed into this old school, there's something for everyone here.

Buckeye Bend Books stocks collectible books, fiction books, nonfiction books, childrens books, cookbooks. You name it, this treasure trove has probably got it.

And that's not to mention the old tools, antique dishes, stacks of board games and puzzles, and other assorted items found within these walls as well.

As you might have already gathered, you'll want to give yourself plenty of time to peruse these shelves - and even the exterior walls - for hidden treasures when you visit Buckeye Bend.

But here's the catch - the bookstore is only open seasonally, and even then, only on select days. Your best bet is to check for the "Open" sign out front on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in the spring, summer, and fall months.
