Take This Jaw Dropping Cliffside Boardwalk In Utah For An Unbeatable View

Zion National Park's Canyon Overlook Trail offers stunning views and a relatively easy hike, making it a must-visit.

Zion National Park is our most popular park, and for good reason - it's simply stunning. You'll find dozens of gorgeous hiking trails that showcase the park, but there's one that has a particularly jaw-dropping view, and a slightly scary boardwalk. Check out the Canyon Overlook Trail:

You'll find the Canyon Overlook Trail just east of the Zion Mt. Carmel Tunnel. The tunnel is a feat of engineering that was completed in 1930 at a cost of $1,896,000.

Follow the signs to the parking lot where the trail head begins.

The first part of the hike is a bit strenuous as you climb as staircase that's cut right into the cliffside.

The trail is just one mile long, and has only a small elevation change of around 150 feet. It hugs the side of the cliff and in places is a little bit scary if you're afraid of heights.

In one spot, there was no room to carve a hiking trail out, so a wooden boardwalk stretches across the abyss.

It's perfectly safe...but you might not want to look down.

As you traverse this pretty little trail, you'll want to keep your eyes open. You'll see some interesting rock formations along the way...

...and might even see some curious faces peeking down at you from above!

At the end of the trail, you'll be treated to this incredible view of the canyon.

Make sure to bring your phone or camera - this is a real stunner!
