There’s A Wizard Train Ride Coming To Texas This Fall And It’s Every Potterhead’s Dream

No matter which sorting house you identify with (where are all my fellow Slytherins?), there's a place for every Potterhead on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad's HalloWizard Train. This festive excursion takes you through Platform 9 3/4 en route to the wizarding world, featuring magic tricks, themed treats, and more.

Whether you're magical or a mere muggle, get ready to step through Platform 9 3/4 and board the Grapevine Vintage Railroad's HalloWizard Train.

Scheduled for October 28, 2023, this festive excursion leaves the depot at 10:25 a.m. and returns at 11:25 a.m.

You'll want to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure, as check-in begins at 10:05 a.m.

The one-hour trip is jam-packed with spooktacular surprises.

You'll see magic tricks, talk with puppet pets, and even meet a real toad.

Plus, the train car is all decked out with magical decor.

The railroad also has another Halloween-themed train ride, the Trick ‘R Treat Train. I recommend making it a full Grapevine Vintage Railroad weekend and doing both!

What's more, The British Emporium will have an on-board trolley with familiar treats like butterbeer and chocolate frogs for purchase.

Costumes aren't required, but they're half the fun, so I definitely recommend donning a cloak, a scarf, and a hat (and don't forget your wand!).
